Weston was born in January of 2015 and is a CUTE, little Chihuahua/Terrier mix. He is solid white with a cute little crook in his tail. Oh, did we mention he only has three legs? It's easy to see why we forget once you have met Weston.

Weston came to DFWPP from the Garland TX high kill shelter with his front right leg already broken. After several attempts to repair Weston's leg, the hard decision to amputate had to be made. Weston has been under a vets care since he was twelve weeks old. Weston does well with both cats and dogs because of the newness of his amputation I think he will do better with kids that are old enough to understand he will still feel some pain in the place his leg was removed and will need gentle handling. Weston is a bit shy but, warms up very quickly and then there is no stopping him. He will need some patience when it comes to house training. Weston has been confined to a crate due to the issue with his leg. Weston has braved all of this surgery and is still a happy puppy with all the puppy energy.

If you are interested in adding this pup to your family, please fill out our Pre-Adoption Application. The link to this form can be found on the home page of our website, http://dfwpuppatrol.com.
