My name is Chloe, and I am a 1.5 year old blonde, female Chihuahua pup with the longest legs you’ve ever seen on a Chi! I weigh about 9 pounds. When I was only 2 months old, I was adopted from the Lewisville Animal Shelter by a nice lady, but she couldn’t keep me because her job required her to travel all the time. She gave me to one of her friends when I was 4 months old. I lived with this family for about a month but her dogs didn’t like me. Finally, I moved in with my current foster family when I was 6 months old.  As you can see, I have been shuffled around a lot and all I want is a family to call my own.  

I like to ride in the car and usually just end up going to sleep. I LOVE to play and rough house with my foster-sibling, Daisy. Our favorite thing to do is play chase in the back yard. I can get a little rough at times, especially when we are rolling around wrestling. My foster parents think I would be happier in a family that has medium to large dogs to play with. I am a bundle of energy and am able to climb baby gates with my long legs! I know how to use a doggie door and am potty trained. (I may need additional training if my new family doesn’t have a doggie door.) I am still learning how to act around cats. I just can’t control myself when I see one! I need to chase them and bark like crazy!

I am a super-sweet girl who loves to snuggle and give lots and lots of kisses! I am very patient and loving around children. I am learning not to jump up on them. I just get so excited and want to kiss their faces! I prefer to be the center of attention or I will climb in your lap to get your attention. Since I am still a puppy, I like to chew a lot. I will need lots of toys to play with (I really love squeaky ones!). If you try to catch me to take away a toy, I will run from you hoping you will chase me. My foster mom says I’m really fast and hard to catch.

Don’t I sound like a lot of fun? I am a bundle of joy and love in a small package (with long legs)! I will be an awesome addition to a high-energy family. My foster mom keeps telling me that there is a perfect family out there for me. Could it be with you?

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $225, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
