Hello, I'm Jackie and I was found as a pregnant stray. My temporary home was the city shelter until a foster home took me and my unborn pups in. I gave birth to a litter of 9 pups February 2nd. They are all grown up now and out on their own, which means I am single and ready to mingle with a forever home of my own.

I'm young (estimated 2 years old) and slender 30lbs. with striking black and white markings. I love long walks in parks and neighborhoods. My gentle, attentive side makes me a great listener. I will follow commands. My breed tends to be loyal and protective of family and property. If a strangers comes to "my" front door I do alert.

I like other playful dogs of any size, especially smaller pups, like me because I love to play keep away with toys, but don't worry, I am gentle. I don't mind showing my belly and rolling around in the grass. I get along with almost every creature and every person. Occasionally, men scare me. I keep my distance until I warm up to them.

My ideal home would have children of any age.. They are so fun to run beside outside or to snuggle in bed with at night. I have been taught to sleep on the floor next to a bed and in a crate, however I do not prefer this.
