Hi! My name is Jackson, at least that is the name these nice ladies  gave me. They took me out of that noisy shelter! I must say, I ended up in a nice foster home…but sure would like to have a furever home as I really do adore my people.  They tell me I'm probably a Border Collie/Flat-Coated Retriever mix pup, approximately 1 year old, and I currently weigh about 40 lbs.

If you adopt me, I promise to follow you around all day from room to room and always keep you company.  I’m potty trained with a doggie door and I'm even starting to learn to sit, laydown and stay..it’s quite fun as I get these treats.  I’m a big boy and learned how to use the dog door all by myself! I also like to dig through the toy box and scatter as many bones and toys around as I can.

My foster Mom also says that I’m pretty..but I’m a boy and so should be handsome. I’ve got a really shiny black coat with cutest white stocking feet you’ll ever see. Mom says I’m as intelligent as I look..she’s right you know!

I have three other fur foster brothers and we all get along just great and I won’t even fight over food or treat…but I do like to stick my nose in to make sure I get my share!  I’m very good in the house and don’t chew anything except the dog toys and I even sleep quietly in the bedroom with my foster Mom & Dad and all the other furr brothers.

Jackson will do great in a home with or without other dogs, the foster home does not have cats or small children – but his temperament is so sweet we would guess that he would be fine with either.  While Jackson is still young, he is not hyperactive and prefers to stay at the side of his foster Mom or Dad.  Jackson is very affectionate and quickly seeks attention.  We hope he finds a loving and attentive home.
