Meet Champ who we believe to be a Maltese mix pup, approximately 3 years of age, and weighs about 10 lbs.  Champ is an adorable boy that simply loves and wants to be with his people as much as possible.  He is funny and playful; he can dance on his back legs and go in circles when he gets excited or happy.  Champ is a dog that wants to be cuddled and snuggled with and he loves to sleep in his family bed and be covered up with his soft blanket while he sleeps.  If you are looking for a true fur child, he is the perfect dog because he is ready and willing to be your favorite little guy whether snuggled in front of the fire, reading a book in bed or going for a  walk together. Champ does walk pretty well on the leash and he showed no aggressive behavior towards other animals or people. 

Champ likes toys and treats, he seems to be housetrained with only a few accidents in the house after first arriving.  When given a puppy pad to use on a tile floor, he attempted to go there if he was locked up for a lengthy period of time. He has never had an accident on our carpet nor while sleeping in our bed.  We think that he will be perfectly happy as an only pup as long as someone is home but if left alone daily for long periods of time maybe not so much.  He has met and was perfectly fine with both of our cats when they were literally nose to nose and showed no interest in chasing them.  He is a wonderful companion in a car as well, being very calm and quiet while traveling.

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
