Sweet Jake was left to fend for himself on the streets of Fort Worth, but he holds no grudges and loves everyone he meets! At approximately 6 months old (as of 04/2013), Jake is a quick learner and a definite love bug. He walks well on a leash, and really enjoys his daily walks. Jake will play fetch as long as you throw the ball! He was not house or cratetrained when his foster family took him in, but he figured it out quickly! He gets along great with the other dogs & kitties in his foster family. Being a youngster yet, Jake is a little on the rambunctious side and will need a commited family that can provide regular exercise, playtime, and socialization to guide him through his puppy phase in life. All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $200 and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
