Somehow Cody found himself out in the world suddenly without a family or home.  He was discovered by some kind neighbors who would put out food and water for him and would even talk to him.  Cody decided to stay around the area because beggers can't be choosers and at least he felt some small sense of belonging.  Deep down he kept hope that his family would come back and life would return to normal.  Over time he started trusting these kind people that seemed to care about him.  After about a year he was suddenly swooped up and he is now beginning to move forward once again, learning there are many people that truly care about him.

Cody is a Blue Heeler mix pup who is approximately 2 to 2-1/2 years of age.  Though he can be a bit shy at first, he quickly gets over that and is extremely sweet and welcoming of everyone.  Cody is a very happy and cuddly pup, but still can be anxious at times so he will need a family with some patience and guidance.  He is not hyper however, and is even laid back.  Cody is wonderful around other dogs and children, but is very afraid of kitties.
