Hi there! My name is Cliff! I'm a lucky boy because some really nice people bailed me out of the Garland shelter in the nick of time. It's a gassing shelter, too! I am one to 1-1/2 years old so I am at my full size at 40 pounds though I could stand to gain a few pounds. I'm such a gorgeous guy but a little shy due to the way I've been treated earlier in my life especially by men, but I quickly come out of my shell and I really do love kids, other pups, and kitties are ok with me too..I really just ignore them. I am good on a leash and have never had an accident in the house or in my crate. I know how to sit, heal, lay down, roll over, and I know what "no" means. I love to play with other pups as well as with my toys when I don't have a buddy around. I'm not exactly laid back and am super active, so I will require a family that is active as well. I'm young and handsome and sweet so there's no reason not to love me. The way I see it, the perfect home for me would probably be a single active mom or an active mom with kids, or even an active family if the husband is patient and compassionate. It would be best to crate me at night or when I need to be left alone as I will still eat things when I get bored.
