Take a good look at Bo.  This beautiful Poodle/Maltese mix is a far cry from the matted, flea-covered mess found in a high-kill shelter.  He had to be shaved to the skin to clear all the mats.  Bo is currently living with his foster family and has doggie playmates and even a cat that he ignores. But, he likes his humans best.  He loves his toys and will bring them to you and ask you to play with him. Bo is an outstanding companion.  Daily long walks with his human are high on his priority list of fun things to do.  He is a pleasure in the car where he is well behaved and just content to go with you everywhere you will take him.  He’s happy in your lap or just up close and next to you.  When it’s bed time, he goes right to his crate and sleeps the night through, although he’d love to sleep with you if you allow it.   

Bo is an indoor dog, crate trained, fully house-trained and uses a pet door. He walks easily on leash and obeys basic commands. He is fully vetted, heartworm negative, about 5 years old.. Because of his delicate pink skin he should be kept out of the sun.

It seems clear that Bo was not treated well at some time in his life. He is afraid of new situations and people, and can be very protective of his home and his family. Once he feels safe and secure, he is a loyal and loving cuddle hound who is anxious to please. He requires a loving home with a very patient family willing to work with him. He would do best in a home with no children.
