Chewie is a great family dog and quite handsome! He is a Flat Coat Retriever mix, appoximately 1-1/2 to 2 yrs old, and weighs approximately 55 lbs. Chewie gets along with kids as well as other dogs and cats. He has been learning his house manners and is not a hyper dog, but still loves his playtime. He is housetrained and will scratch at the back door to go out. He is also crate trained. He does live up to his name "Chewie" and will chew up shoes if they are left around, but is happy with a good sturdy chew toy if one is provided. He likes to play fetch.
