Chopper is a Pit/Blue Heller mix who is approximately 50 lbs, born around Feb, 2008, is current on vaccinations, neutered, and is current on his heartworm prevention.  Chopper is a wonderful dog, super friendly, loves to snuggle, and is housebroken.  He is great around children and other dogs.  He is curious about cats, but so far has been afraid of them.  As with all terrier mixes he tends to get a little bord, so he needs lots of toys.  It would be great if Chopper had a friend to play with and a backyard.  He would make a great walking/jogging buddy!  He does tend to chew a bit so crating him until his anxiety over his move to a new family settles down would be a great idea (crate included).  Chopper loves to play in the water and makes a great camping partner.

Chopper is a rescue taken in by his foster mom.  As much as his foster mom would love to keep him, she already owns a pit mix and has come to realize it's just too much with both of them without a yard.  Chopper MUST be an inside dog.  His foster mom has been working with him and he does well on a leash, sits when told and stays, but sometimes his excitement does get the best of him and he can be a wiggle worm.  He has the friendliest personality, is always happy, and has never shown any signs of aggression!  If you are interested in Chopper, please contact Lisa Arion for an application at larion@panterasolutions.com.  Chopper's adoption fee is $175.
