Hi! I’m Sadie Jane. My humans tell me I was born in February of 2021 and I weigh 37 lbs. I was rescued as a young pup and was living on a farm with a bunch of other pups and a very nice lady, but the lady had an accident and couldn't take care of us. Since no one would help the animal control officer came and took all of us to the shelter. It was a super scary place! Another rescue came to save my sister, but wouldn't take me because I didn't look "Pointer enough". I can't help it that I am mixed! They say I look like I have English Pointer in me for sure, but not sure what else I am mixed with. After all this drama I am shy when I meet new people and it takes me some time to adjust, but once I get comfortable boy do I love attention! My foster mom taught me about leashes….I was terrified of them at first but now I’m starting to realize it means I get to go outside for a walk. She’s also teaching me “sit” and ”lie down”. I do love food so that helps for the teaching. I love my doggy friends... I just love to play! I’m learning about sharing my human too... I just love to hog all the attention for myself. I sleep well in my crate at night but sometimes I won’t get in unless you throw a treat in first. I love to chase balls, chew on things (technically I am still a puppy), and turn whatever I find into a toy. I will make a great new best friend to a family that has some patience with a shy, still learning pup like me.

All of our adoptable pups have a minimum requested adoption fee of $250 + tax (pups 6 months and older) and $350 + tax (pups under 6 months old), regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 8 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 3 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
