Lando, who gets his name from the Star Wars character, is a small guy with a big personality. He is 12 lbs and is about 1.5 years old. We believe he is a Schnauzer mix. Lando was given to the rescue after his previous owner decided she did not have time for him anymore. He wasn't socialized very well so he is cautious of new people and takes some time to warm up. He likes other dogs and loves to play and chase them. He has met some cats and thinks they are fun to chase if they run, but he won't hurt them. Lando is good in his crate although he will howl sometimes when you leave him. He is potty trained and walks well on a leash. He absolutely loves to go! Walks, car rides, he's ready! He will also take it upon himself to take himself for a walk if he finds an open door or gate to go through so he will need to be leashed at all times outside if he doesn't have a secure fenced in area. He loves to play ball too! Being part Schnauzer, Lando is a barker so will probably not be a good apartment dog. His ideal new home would be a calm one with no small children.
