Hey everyone.....Bacardi here!!! I am estimated to be approximately 3 years old, about 74 lbs, and I am a Black Mouth Cur. I am the absolute sweetest and most handsome boy around if I do say so myself! I love to play with other dogs, love my people, including little kids, and am very active! I was rescued from a San Antonio kill shelter, and how I ended up there is beyond me. Thanks to DFW Pup Patrol for rescuing me and putting me in my loving foster home. I am goofy, funny, and loaded with personality. I am potty trained with a dog door. I am not a fan of being crated but I'm ok for short periods... if someone is home I don't mind it at all, but my foster Mom doesn't make me sleep in a crate. Walks would be a perfect activity for me to help release some of the energy I have, and I'm very good on a leash. I have been basic obedience trained...I will Sit, Down, Stay, and Leave It on command. I can be a bit mischievous when left home alone. Come meet me and I know you’ll fall in love with me. I am looking for that loving committed active family who will help guide me, love me forever, and will help me be the best family dog!

All of our adoptable pups have an adoption fee of $250, regardless of our expenses, and it includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm test for pups 6 months and older, heartworm treatment if tested positive, deworming and/or fecal test, parasite treatment if tested positive, microchipping, any immediate known health issues, and pups 4 months and older are kept current on monthly heartworm prevention.
